Install the plugin on WordPress and WooCommerce

The AgentMySite plugin adds the chat widget to your public pages and connects your site to your AgentMySite account in one click. On a WooCommerce store it also indexes your products from WooCommerce’s built-in, read-only Store API and keeps them in sync when you edit a product.

  • A WordPress site (6.0 or later, PHP 7.4 or later) where you can install plugins.
  • An AgentMySite account. You can create one during the Connect step.
  1. Download agentmysite-1.0.0.zip from agentmysite.com/wordpress.

  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and select Install Now, then Activate.

  3. Go to Settings > AgentMySite and select Connect to AgentMySite.

  4. Sign in to AgentMySite (or create an account), choose the site, and confirm. You are returned to WordPress with the widget switched on.

Nothing is sent to AgentMySite before you select Connect. When you connect, the plugin shares your site address, site title, the address of your sitemap if one is found, and a one-time code. WordPress then keeps only a public site key and your display preferences: no password, token or API key is stored.

Some hosts block the outbound request the plugin makes to finish the connection. In that case select Enter a site key manually on the same settings screen and paste the site key from Site Settings > Site key & embed snippet in your AgentMySite dashboard.

  • Pages: your sitemap is registered so your pages can be learned. The plugin detects the sitemap from Yoast SEO, Rank Math or All in One SEO when one is active, otherwise the WordPress core sitemap or the one in robots.txt.
  • WooCommerce products: on a store, products are learned from the Store API instead of crawling pages. The assistant knows names, prices, sale prices, stock, categories, attributes and variations, links shoppers to the product page, and shows product cards with images. About a minute after you save a product, the plugin asks AgentMySite to refresh the product index. Only your public site key is sent; AgentMySite reads the products itself. Orders and customers are never read.
  • Add to cart: on a WooCommerce store, shoppers can ask the assistant to add a product to their cart and go to checkout. The cart calls run on your store page with the shopper’s own session.
  • Show the chat widget: turn the widget on or off without disconnecting.
  • Hide on paths: one path per line, for example /cart or /account/*. The widget never loads in the dashboard, on the login page, in feeds or in REST responses.
  • Disconnect: removes the connection locally without contacting AgentMySite.

Select Disconnect in Settings > AgentMySite, then deactivate and delete the plugin. Uninstalling removes everything the plugin stored.
